2025 has been a year of quiet pride and deep gratitude. As someone who thrives in the intersection of creativity and diplomacy, I feel immensely thankful to have contributed to the visual voice (done entirely on Canva!) of the Indonesian Embassy in Athens throughout the year.
Visualizing diplomacy is never just about making things look good. It’s about understanding context, tone, audience, and purpose—then wrapping it all in a design or caption that’s accessible, accurate, and alive. This past year, I had the privilege of helping shape the Embassy’s social media presence—curating Instagram captions, designing event visuals, and distilling long diplomatic narratives into digestible, warm-hearted posts. Each post had its own challenge—how to remain concise, how to honor formality without losing friendliness, and how to give space for both nations to shine.
This small role I play in the bigger machine of diplomacy often reminds me that storytelling—be it through visuals, words, or both—is a form of service. It may not always be front stage, but it frames the way others see and understand the work we do behind the scenes.
As I close this chapter of 2025, I remain hopeful for what lies ahead. That I can continue to use art and narrative to support cultural understanding. That someday, this path might lead me to create even more personal works—perhaps in a graphic novel format, or maybe a collaborative exhibition. For now, I’m thankful for every caption, every carousel, and every opportunity to bring color to diplomacy.
