Precious Pleated Pandegue v.01

At first i was going to use these design as a competition’s entry but, due to my let’s-do-it-later attitude, i think i kinda missed the deadline 😐 Oh well, so here’re 2 of my design (out of other sketches and b/w designs, haven’t got the time to colored it yet theehee)

Okay, due to my so-long-time-ago dream of becoming a fashion designer, therefor i decided to: start everything all over again.
“Precious Pleated Pandegue”
I got inspired by hundreds of batik kain my Grandma has in my house. Plus, i really really fall in love with something called pleated and ruffles and huge statement dress. I need to grab people’s attention to one of the most striking point of view in a dress. “Pandegue” is actually taken from the Portuguese means fun, merrymaking, carousal feels!
Oh, about the illustration. First i was kinda frustrated about my style. Then i found this one. I leave the face unshaped instead giving it some vague and abstract colors. And i, really love it!
See you in the next post, fellas!
