As we step into 2025, I had the privilege of designing a special calendar for the Indonesian Embassy in Athens. This calendar not only marks the passing of time but also celebrates the unique connection between Indonesia and Greece. Despite being thousands of miles apart, these two nations share unexpected cultural parallels, from their pink beaches and iconic traditional cuisines to their historic sailing vessels, like Indonesia’s majestic Pinisi and Greece’s legendary Trireme. Through this calendar, the embassy highlights these shared wonders, showcasing the harmony that bridges the East and West in the most delightful ways.
